The Christmas Concert this year was well put together, but the night we went, Thursday, was only just good, not great. David Archuleta is a good singer, but he was nervous and he is not yet an entertainer. Michael York is very talented and read his part like the great actor he is. Too many cameras taking TV shots and we had seats on the wrong side of the building. Would like to see the show again, if I had better tickets.
December 16th 2010. I lost another tooth today. No matter how I try to take care of them, they just end up getting infected and then they hurt like H.....

December 13th begins a week of Christmas activities. Monday night, the group that entered the mission field with us, know as, the August Harvesters, had a social to farewell some of the team who are leaving for home in December. The group is getting smaller and smaller, so that by March 2011, most will have returned home. Our speaker was Elder Kutcher (sic) who have taught at BYU and excavated many ruins in Egypt. His slide show was very interesting and showed several links to Christianity and the Temple.

We had the opportunity to attend the LDS production of Savior of the World. It was put on in the auditorium attached to the Conference Center. The production was very well done and we doubt that anyone would find a better place to spend an evening. The first half of the play was about the time previous to the birth of Christ. The second act was about the time of the resurrection and up to the Ascension. Salt Lake City at Christmas time is full of activities and wonderful lights.
